Silk has a natural drape and takes colour very well. We usually say that after wearing a silk garment, you never want anything else.</p><p>Besides being a beautiful fabric, the feeling of silk on the skin is very light and soft.</p><p>General Care Tips for Silk</p><p>• Never use chlorine bleach on silk fabrics. It will damage your clothes' natural fibers.</p><p>• Do not expose silk to direct sunlight. Long bursts of sun rays can cause discoloration or even damage the fabric.</p><p>• Never tumble dry. The high temperature of the dryer will shrink or damage your fabric.<br>•&nbsp;Use a mild detergent. Some brands are specifically designed for silk.</p><p>• Check for colorfastness. Some garments may bleed during washing. Test a small area by dabbing with a wet, white cloth.<br>Check for any color leak.</p><p><br>Ideally dry clean, but if you need to hand wash, please use a low pH liquid detergent in warm water [our fun tip is shampoo or conditioner] please no direct sun exposure, ironing is recommended with a protective cloth protecting silk from iron[steam iron], please do not spray water or wet silk while ironing.</p>
